CARDIAB Database

CARDIAB v3.0 New Features

CARDIAB is a database specifically designed for use by Divisions of General Practice. It focuses on cardiovascular and diabetes management within the primary health care system and enables collation of data on patients enrolled in the Division’s programs. CARDIAB allows Divisions to provide relevant and specific support to General Practitioners participating in Divisional programs, by providing information on recalls, risk factor management and continuous improvement in adherence to best practice.

The CARDIAB Database has been developed by the CARDIAB Alliance - a collaboration of Intouch Consultancy Pty Ltd, Macarthur Division of General Practice, The Heart Foundation, Centre for General Practice Integration Studies and The Pharmaceutical Alliance (Eli Lilly Australia Pty Limited, GlaxoSmithKline Australia Limited and Merck, Sharp & Dohme (Australia) Pty Ltd).
